John Osborn
John is a retired Captain with Kingston Fire and Rescue, concluding an impressive 38-year career in fire service. During his time in the service, he also served as Regional Manager with Correctional Services of Canada, further broadening his leadership experience in public safety.
Over the years, John has contributed his expertise through various Board of Directors roles, including with a neighbourhood association and a Fire Department Association. Today, he remains actively involved in his community by facilitating First Aid, CPR, and AED training for organizations across Ontario.
A strong believer in the value of community walking clubs and social connection, John has dedicated many years of volunteer service to helping ensure the King’s Town Trekkers remains active, welcoming, and sustainable.
